The jardinière is raised by fine cabriole legs with foliate sabots and a unique horizontal fluted design. Each side displays recessed panels showcasing the beautiful mahogany grain framed within a beaded and mottled ormolu band. At each side are richly chased rams heads with intertwined hoops in their mouths and set on unique hammered heart shaped backgrounds. One side displays a bottom drawer with a fine fluted design. Above is a pierced wrap around ormolu gallery framing the original fitted removable insert with handles. All original gilt throughout. — Read Less
